The Mixed Nuts have several “alter ego” bands: Style – A Tribute To Taylor Swift, Billy Joel vs Elton John, SUPAFLY – 1970s Dance Experience, etc. One of our favorite shows to put on is a band called Newspaper Taxi: A Tribute To The Beatles. Along with our friends Jeff Lane, Jimmy Messa, Joe Stark, and Chad Gilmore, The Nuts take on the persona of Newspaper Taxi . “Taxi” has quickly become one of the most requested Beatles Tribute Bands in America with appearances upcoming all across the country.

The band’s speciality is performing the entire albums of The Beatles live on stage. Every detail of the music of The Beatles is presented in the way they recorded it. Cover to cover, Taxi presents the music of the Beatles performed on stage live as they recorded it in the studio!

On Saturday, July 22, Newspaper Taxi took the stage at The New Orleans Beatles Festival (founded and organized yearly by Chuck Credo IV) to a packed house of 1000 Beatles fans at the Jefferson Performing Arts Center. Taxi performed a special set following the #1 album of The Beatles (highlighting the top hits of The Beatles). The set list:
